Titanic is probably one of the most memorable movies there is in the world. It’s a blockbuster hit, and it has captured the hearts of millions of people. They fell in love, they cried and they were shocked and devastated when the disaster happened.

But the real tragedy that has befallen this monstrous ship in 1912 was much more catastrophic, traumatic and painful. Some of these interesting facts were not shown in the movie, but these events are realities that are hard to forget and they remain to be controversial as well.

1. The Titanic disaster happened on April 14th, 1912. It took almost three hours for it to sink. It hit the iceberg at 11:40 PM and sank completely into the icy waters at 2:20 AM. It snapped into two around 2:18 AM.
