Rare Phenomenon: Part Of Bahamas Beach Disappeared After Being Hit By Hurricane Irma

Irma is the strongest hurricane that hit United States since Katrina in 2005. But before hitting the US it leaves a huge catastrophic damage across Atlantic and Northern Caribbean. It was a category 5 hurricane when it hit Anguilla, Barbuda, Saint Martin, Saint Barthelemy and Virgin Islands but later slowed down to Category 4 when it passed to Cuba and United States. Hurricane Irma has winds peaking at 185 mph (295 km/h).

What also strange is after the Hurricane, it leaves huge damage in man made structures but also in Mother Nature itself. Part of a beach in Bahamas disappeared that makes people wondering where it went. It was captured in video. This rare phenomenon is a proof that the hurricane is strong enough that it can even change the shape of the ocean.

Don’t worry! The water will come back slowly after few days.
